I was fortunate to be able to spend a few days in Yosemite National Park with my father-in-law, Larry Brenden. Larry, an accomplished landscape photographer, showed me some of his favorite locations in the Yosemite Valley, along with some great ideas and guidanceĀ on landscape photography.

I got to use my Foolography Unleashed Bluetooth adapter to geotag my photos from a Holux 1000C GPS receiver. This worked really well – I left the GPS receiver in the top of my camera bag/backpack, and concentrated on taking the photos.

The park rangers were doing some training with a Bell 205 helicopter (civilian version of a UH-1 Huey).
